Alys was born a child of nomadic parents in Yyasulani, just days before the dome appeared. Trapped inside this new world of Alexandria, her mother relocated to Solution Nine, where Alys was raised, while her father roamed the Outskirts, rarely to be seen. For the first thirty years of her life, all she knew was life in the dome, safe inside the tower of Everkeep with her mother. Alys, along with the residents of Solution Nine, lived a life filled with happiness; she wanted for nothing, never experienced pain, suffering, or loss.All of this changed with the loss of the beloved Queen Sphere. Before this, Alys could not remember loss. But so much had changed in Solution Nine, and in Alexandria as a realm. In just a short time, she had watched as the long-feared king was defeated by an outside champion, and their realm was somehow bound to this new realm, Etheirys. So much had changed, including people removing their regulators.She watched as people began to experience pain; memories came sweeping back to them, and with them, pain and loss entered Solution Nine. Alys watched those around her hurt deeply, and longed to comfort them; however, she could not understand the emotions they felt. As a healer, she sought to heal the hurt of her people. So, she joined them in removing her regulator.All at once, 30 years of pain and loss flooded her. She could remember having a younger sister, only for the baby to die after just a few days in the home. A childhood best friend who wandered off to the Outskirts, only never to return. Her father, a terse man with pure white hair, was not part of her daily life. He was cruel to her mother and, at times, would strike them both. By the age of 10, he walked out of her life entirely.And then there was the beloved Queen Sphere. She had brought them here to the dome, tried to protect them from the electrope storms destroying Alexandria. Now she was gone - who was to lead them? Alys had always looked to the Queen as a symbol of strength and hope; a leader who truly cared for her people and tried to do what was right. She had even seen the Queen in the streets, healing the sick and injured. It was Queen Sphere who inspired her to become a healer.As these thoughts flooded Alys, she was overcome with anger. Why had these memories been kept from her? HOW had these memories been kept from her? She wanted answers and would do anything in her power to get them. She smashed her regulator and left Everkeep Tower on a mission: vengeance.
